BesCutter 3000-Watt Laser Cleaning Solution for Rubber Mold Buildup Removal
This video demonstrates Bescutter’s largest model, the 3,000-watt continuous laser cleaner, removing rubber buildup from a large steel tractor tire mold. This powerful laser cleaner reduced the manual mold-cleaning time from eight hours to just three, while eliminating the physically demanding labor associated with traditional cleaning methods. With 3000-watt power, this model is also very effective in the removal of adhesives and multiple layers of paint or powder coating.
For other types of mold tooling, including injection, extrusion, and multi-shot molding, the cleaning process can be performed directly in the press. Laser cleaning can eliminate tool removal time, reinstallation, as well as the new setup and run-off times. This model is also highly effective for the removal of rust, powder coating, paint and adhesives, achieving removal rates of 20 to 30 square feet per minute. The heavy-duty system operates on 480V, three-phase power at 30 amps and is designed for portability, featuring a cage lifting eye. All models are equipped with an integrated trigger blow-off nozzle to remove spent-dust from the workpiece target area and enhance the focus of the laser beam onto the workpiece. All Bescutter laser cleaners can be integrated with robotic systems or existing material-handling equipment.
