Solution for Adhesive Removal on Coating Dies

This video demonstrates Bescutter’s 1500-watt continuous laser cleaner, removing an adhesive coating from the surface of a coating die. This versatile cleaner allows cleaning of the most intricate tools and die components. Laser cleaning significantly reduces the manual labor required compared to vapor or abrasive blasting.

For tools, within the injection molding or extrusion industry where plastic build-up on the tool stops production, laser cleaning provides “spot on” and “no touch” repair. Tool buildups ranging from one-thousandth to ten-thousandths of an inch can be laser cleaned directly in the press, without physically touching the tools. This technique brings the tool dimensions back to manufactured specifications with less wear.

The 1500-watt model is also effective for the removal of rust, powder coating and paint, achieving removal rates of 6 to 10 square feet per minute. All models are equipped with an integrated trigger blow-off nozzle to remove spent-dust from the workpiece target area and enhance the focus of the laser beam onto the workpiece.
